Set up DomDetailer in Tool Name

Prerequisites

  • Active DomDetailer account and API key
  • Installed Tool Name (latest version)
Tip: You can find your API key in Account → API keys.

Step 1 — Connect your API key

Open Tool Name, go to Settings → Integrations → DomDetailer, and paste your API key.

Step 2 — Configure recommended filters

Start with DA ≥ 10, TF ≥ 10, Ref Domains ≥ 20. Adjust for your niche and volume.

Note: “Pretty” metrics (links in/out, page count, gov/edu, etc.) are also available.

Step 3 — Verify it’s working

  1. Run a small test list.
  2. Confirm DomDetailer columns populate.
  3. Export and spot-check values.

Troubleshooting

If you see rate-limit or auth errors, recheck the API key and ensure you have credits available.

  • 401: Invalid API key — rotate key in Account.
  • 429: Too many requests — slow concurrency or add credits.

Each domain or URL enrichment consumes one credit per request path as documented.
